Why reach out to me?
I know land can be generational wealth. They aren’t making any more of it, as the saying goes. And yet, for all sorts of good and valid reasons, people sometimes begin to consider a change. If that’s where you find yourself, I may be able to help.
I founded Fitz Cray Land in 2022. I focus on larger rural properties, often land that is well suited for homesteads, hunting, or recreation.

I founded Fitz Cray Land in 2022. I focus on larger rural properties, often land that is well suited for homesteads, hunting, or recreation.
My primary focus is South Carolina and Louisiana, though I sometimes buy land elsewhere too.
I work with a small circle of trusted partners for things like due diligence and closing, so the process stays professional and well supported. I’m experienced, financially prepared to close, and I aim to be thorough while keeping the process efficient.
Most importantly, if you ever find yourself wanting to talk about your property or explore your options, my goal is to make everything feel clear, calm, and respectful from start to finish.
If you received a card, feel free to give me a call so we can talk about your land and see if this might be a good fit. If you received a letter, you may also review and sign the enclosed agreement and send it back if you decide you’d like to proceed.
Once I receive your signed purchase agreement, we begin due diligence. One of my partners will visit the land in person, and we will confirm details like access, zoning, and utilities. I’ll keep you updated throughout. If everything checks out, we move forward. If something unexpected comes up, we’ll talk it through and decide together how to proceed. Nothing moves forward without your agreement.
When due diligence is complete, I send the agreement to the closing attorneys. I cover all closing costs, so there is nothing for you to pay. I’ll keep you updated along the way, and the attorneys are available too if any questions come up. When title work is finished, they schedule closing and you receive your money directly from them.
If you have questions, just call or email me at susanne@fitzcrayland.com
This may be a good fit if you’re unsure how long it might take to handle things on your own, because that uncertainty is what I take off your plate. You receive a clear, agreed-upon price and the certainty of a check or wire transfer, while I take on the time and risk of finding the next long-term owner.
It may also be a good fit if you’d prefer to avoid a long or complicated sales process, with property viewings, contingencies, or bank appraisals. The price you’ll receive is the price in the written purchase agreement. My role is to keep things clear and efficient if you value certainty and a timely closing.
This offer may not be the right fit if you have time and would prefer to pursue the highest possible retail price. Because I purchase land with the intention of reselling it over time, my offer reflects the work and risk involved in bringing the property to its next long-term owner. In exchange, you receive clarity, certainty, and a timely closing.

I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, as the daughter of German parents. If you notice a slight accent when we speak, that’s why. These days, after many conversations with landowners across the country, I simply enjoy getting to know the people behind the properties.
I have two fantastic grown children. I love nature, and one of the ways I recharge is by spending time in an off-grid cabin that doesn’t even have a proper toilet, which sounds awful, but is actually very cool. Its location will remain known only to my closest friends.
I’ve lived in six different countries so far and have a deep love for this beautiful planet we call home.
Land investing found me by the grace of God. I truly love land. I love nature. I also love organizing data in spreadsheets (yes, really), and I love maps, which is probably why land suits me so well.
More importantly, I’d be glad to connect if you ever want to talk about your property.
